Giveaway Rules, Eligibility & How to Enter the Tech IT Guides Free Game Giveaway

Tech IT Guides periodically runs free PC game giveaways as a community reward for its channel and website supporters. This page outlines the official rules, eligibility criteria, participation process, winner selection, and prize delivery for Tech IT Guides Free Game Giveaways. Please read it carefully before entering.
Tech IT Guides, TechITGuides, @TechITGuides, and TechITGuides.com refer to the same entity and are used interchangeably throughout this page, the website, YouTube, and all giveaway-related communications.

What is This Giveaway?

We periodically give away legitimate full PC game keys (Steam, Epic, GOG, etc.) from authorized sellers, with no hidden conditions. Each giveaway is tied directly to the game series we are actively covering, and sometimes a Special Mystery game.

What Kind of Games Are Given Away?

  • Platform: PC only
  • Game keys: Steam / Epic / GOG (disclosed per giveaway).
  • Games: Tied to the series we are actively covering, or sometimes special mystery games.

Giveaway Period

Each giveaway has its own active period, and will be announced clearly on the "Free Game Giveaway" page, and in the YouTube Channel Community posts. Normally, giveaways run for 7 days, with 14 days reserved for special giveaways.

How to Enter/Participate in the Giveaways

We have a simple 2 step participation. To participate in any of our giveaways, follow the steps below:

1. Subscribe (Required):

  • Subscribe to the YouTube channel.

2. Like & Comment (Required):

From the given YouTube playlist, pick any video and do the following:
  • Like the video.
  • Comment your answer to the giveaway question (question will be asked on the "Free Game Giveaway" page).

    You are free to add your thoughts or experience along with the answer, and we actually encourage it. Natural, human comments make the entry valid and meaningful. Low-effort, irrelevant, or spam-style comments may be ignored.

Note:
The giveaway question changes with every new giveaway or series. And only comments made during the active giveaway period are eligible. Comments made before or after the giveaway window will not be counted.

3. (OPTIONAL) Share the Video to Double Your Winning Chances

  You may share the eligible video on any social platform to double your chances of winning the game.
    If you choose to do this, then:
  • Share the video publicly on any Social Platform
  • Email us the shared link at info@techitguides.com

We are fully transparent, the winner selection process will be shown in a video. And you will clearly see bonus entries for those who Shared Video, this double their chances to win.

That's it!
No forms. No forced emails. No external sign-ups. Just genuine participation and genuine giveaway.

Eligible Videos

Eligible videos/playlists will be clearly mentioned in the "Free Game Giveaway" page and announcements on YT posts. Comments on videos outside the eligible scope will not be counted.

Region & Platform

  • Platform: PC (Steam, Epic or GOG).
  • Region restrictions: If any will be clearly mentioned per giveaway in the "Free Game Giveaway" page.

Note:
If a game is region-locked, you may not be able to redeem it, so please check the game's availability in your region before participating. While this is very rare, if a winner encounters a region-lock issue due to not checking availability, we may provide an alternative game from a pre-selected list, from which the winner can choose.

Winner Selection & Eligibility

  • Winner(s) will be selected manually from eligible entries using a fair and unbiased random selection process.
  • Only valid comments submitted by subscribers are eligible.
  • A valid comment is one that answers the giveaway question and is posted during the active giveaway period.
  • Duplicate, spam, automated, irrelevant, or rule-violating comments will be disqualified.
  • Only comments made during the active giveaway period are counted.
  • Giveaway Duration is 7 days for standard giveaways and 14 days for special giveaways.
  • Winners must respond within 72 hours of being contacted.
  • If a winner does not respond within 72 hours, a new winner will be selected without further notice.
  • The decision of the organizer (TechITGuides) is final to keep the process clean and abuse-free.

Winner Announcement

Winners will be announced via:
  • On the "Free Game Giveaway" page
  • A separate announcement video (only if there are at least 20 valid participants)
  • YT Community post
  • Direct reply to the winning comment

Please ensure that your YouTube Notifications from the Subscriptions are enabled, and/or your YouTube account allows contact. Winners must respond within 72 hours of announcement. If no response is received, a new winner may be selected.

Prize Delivery (IMPORTANT)

The prize will always be a Digital Key for the respected game, NO Hard/physical copies. And the game activation will be on one of these platforms, either Steam, Epic, or GOG. We will contact winner(s) using methods above mentioned, and then share game key with them. Game Keys are delivered privately to the winner but never publicly.

Important:
Account Needed, you must have a Game account on the platform that the game key we are offering. And that platform will be disclosed on the Active Ongoing Game Giveaway section on the "Free Game Giveaway" page.

Activation, Safety and Proof

Winners are advised to record their screen while activating the game key. Recording the activation process provides proof in case of any activation issues and protects both the winner and the organizer. Without a screen recording, Tech IT Guides may be unable to verify or resolve activation-related problems.

Disqualification

Tech IT Guides reserve the right to disqualify any entries, at any time for various reasons, such as:
  • Spam or bot-generated
  • Duplicate/fake accounts
  • Abusive or manipulative behaviour

This is a community giveaway, and fairness matters.

  • This giveaway is not sponsored, endorsed, or administered by YouTube or any other brand in any means. Tech IT Guides (TechITGuides.Com) is the sole organizer.
  • Tech IT Guides reserves the right to modify or cancel the giveaway in case of abuse, fraud, or technical issues.
  • By participating, you agree to these official rules.
