All Hidden Chest Locations in Darksiders 1 (True Secrets Revealed)
1. Fire Hydrant Chest – The Crossroads
Reward: Reveal a 500 Souls chest.
To unlock this chest, destroy all six gray fire hydrants around Vulgrim's area.
2.Tombstone Chest – The Choking Grounds
Reward: A Health Shard.
Break every large Cross to reveal a chest containing a Health Shard. There are a total of 8 crosses to destroy.
3. Torch Chest – The Twilight Cathedral
Reward: Weapon Enhancement 'Bloodthirst'.
In the southwest bottom-floor room, light all torches using the Crossblade. There are 10 torches you need to light to unlock a chest containing the Bloodthirst Weapon Enhancement.
4. Bonus Chest – The Black Throne (Lifestone Shard)
Reward: A Lifestone Shard.
While chasing the beams in The Black Throne to Free Azrael, you reach a room with three lifts. Inside that room use the Void Walker to access a hidden platform and claim a Lifestone Shard. I recommend to watch the video added below for detailed path and correct location of this chest.
Is There a Hidden Chest in Drowned Pass Underwater?
Some players, including myself, noticed a chest marker on the map inside an underwater house/building in Drowned Pass. However, this appears to be a map glitch rather than an obtainable chest.
